East Texas Price War logo Beta Mode

East Texas Price War is recruiting its founding 25 sellers

The 25 Beta Seller seats are for Panola and Rusk County, and for service providers from any county we list — a provider qualifies on its service area, not its home address. Apply from any other listed county and your application stays Pending on the Founding Expansion Seller Waitlist for the official launch, counting toward the 100 application spots. Free to list, 7% on a sale capped at $99, and real local pickup down the road — not a warehouse in another state.

Every application counts here: Beta applications from Panola and Rusk County, service provider applications from any listed county, and the preliminary applications on the Pending Counties Waitlist. Applications from other listed counties stay Pending and are decided at the official launch on November 11, 2026, without ever taking a Beta seat.

Step by step

How the Beta Seller application works

  1. 1

    Create your free account

Buyer access is instant and free. Pick your East Texas county, tick “I'm interested in selling”, and verifying your email drops you straight into the Beta Seller application — no hunting for the button afterwards.

  2. 2

Your details are already filled in

Your name, email, phone and county come from your account, so the application shows them back to you as plain text instead of asking again. Only anything missing is an input. Change something? Update it in Profile Settings and come back.

  3. 3

Agree, then tell us what you'll sell

Accept the cancellation fee policy and confirm you meet the seller requirements — the rest of the form stays locked until both are agreed. Then describe what you plan to list and how buyers will collect it.

  4. 4

    Verify who you are

Confirm your age and local-pickup acknowledgements, then complete identity verification with a driver's license, state ID, or foreign legal citizen document. Business sellers also file registration details for an authorized representative.

  5. 5

    Get approved automatically

A complete application from Panola or Rusk County is approved automatically, wins one of the 25 Beta seats, and adds the Beta Tester badge to your profile. An application from another county waits on file and is approved automatically at the official launch on November 11, 2026 if it is complete. Only an incomplete or questionable application is reviewed by hand. You keep full Buyer access the whole time.

  6. 6

Connect Stripe and light up your first Price War

Finish Stripe's own onboarding for payouts, then post listings with clear drop-downs and price tiers, and schedule your first session.

The rules

How a Beta seller account works

Where a Beta Seller sells

Panola and Rusk County while the marketplace is in Beta. Pickup is in person only — no shipping, no delivery — so buyers collect from a place you post publicly.

What selling costs

Free to list, no subscription and no seat fee. A completed sale carries a 7% platform fee, capped at $99, and nothing is owed on a listing that does not sell.

The Beta Tester badge

An approved application earns the Beta Tester badge on your profile and your listings, so buyers know they are buying from a founding seller. You keep the badge for as long as you keep selling on etxpricewar.com.

Getting paid

Payouts run through your own Stripe account. During Beta the team sends your share by hand within 24 to 48 hours of a completed handoff; after the launch it transfers automatically.

Launch day

On November 11, 2026 every listed county opens for trading and the applications Pending on the Founding Expansion Seller Waitlist, complete ones with nothing outstanding, are approved automatically. A county that isn't on the list yet is added once ten seller-ready neighbors are on file.

Applying is free and takes a few minutes. Your account holds your name, email, phone and county already, so the application shows those back to you and only asks for what is missing — no re-typing what you just entered.

Requirements

Who can apply

  • You're based in Panola or Rusk County, Texas, or you're a service provider whose service area covers either county, wherever you live
  • 18 or older, with a working email and phone
  • A government ID for identity verification
  • Real inventory you can hand to a buyer
  • A pickup location you can post publicly
  • A bank account for Stripe payouts
  • Agreement to the Beta Seller rules and the platform fee

Only 25 Beta Seller seats exist. They go to approved applicants based in Panola or Rusk County, and to service providers whose service area covers either county, wherever they live. Apply from any other county without serving the area and your application stays on file for the official launch on November 11, 2026, counting toward the 100 launch application spots. Buyer sign-ups are unlimited — anyone, anywhere can join.

Fees

What selling costs during Beta

Listing fee

$0

Posting every listing is free for Beta Sellers.

Transaction fee

7%

Charged per sold item and capped at $99, so a big sale never pays a big cut.

Monthly fee

$0

No subscription, no seat fee, and no county listing fee.

When it's charged

Only on a sale

Nothing sells, nothing is owed.

  • Finish identity verification and your first-sale fee is waived.
  • Social-verified sellers get 2% off the standard rate.
  • Payouts come from Stripe directly — East Texas Price War never holds your money.

Recognition

The Beta Tester badges

Beta Seller

Every approved Beta Seller carries the Beta Tester badge on their profile and their listings, so buyers know they're buying from one of the founding 25. Keep selling on etxpricewar.com and the badge stays with your account after the launch.

Verified Importer

Complete identity verification to add the Verified Importer badge and have your first-sale fee waived.

Badges are earned through approval and verification — never bought. The Beta Tester badge is yours for as long as your seller account stays active on etxpricewar.com.

Getting paid

Stripe setup & onboarding

  1. 1

    Open Seller Hub → Payouts

Every approved seller account has a Payouts tab.

  2. 2

    Tap Connect with Stripe

You're handed to Stripe's own secure onboarding. East Texas Price War never sees your bank details.

  3. 3

    Answer Stripe's questions

Legal name, date of birth, address, and your bank account. Stripe may also ask for a photo ID.

  4. 4

    Get paid

Stripe sends payouts on its own schedule, straight to your bank.

What Stripe asks for depends on your business type and Stripe's own verification rules, so the prompts you see may differ from another seller's.

Applications stay open, even when all 25 seats are full

Apply any time, from anywhere. Applications from Panola and Rusk County are reviewed for the 25 Beta seats, and a service provider qualifies from any county on the list — if the roster is full you're approved as an inactive seller and switch on when a seat opens. Applications from every other listed county stay Pending on the Founding Expansion Seller Waitlist and are approved automatically on November 11, 2026: they never take a Beta seat, and they count toward the separate 100 launch application spots. A county we don't list yet joins the Pending Counties Waitlist instead, where ten seller-ready neighbors are enough to get it added. Buyer sign-ups have no limit — anyone, anywhere can create an account.
